Participation Information

The Singapore Invention Convention celebrates STEM education inventors and entrepreneurs from Kindergarten to Post-Secondary. Participants are given the opportunity showcase their brilliant inventions and receive feedback for improvement.

Since 2020, we have broadened our reach to welcome participants from across the region, extending a warm welcome to innovators from countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan!

Deserving participants receive awards, mentorship opportunities with leading experts, and a chance to compete on a global stage. Our young inventors and entrepreneurs have also been featured in the local media and recognised by ministers in Singapore!

We would like to thank our co-organiser and knowledge partner, Temasek Polytechnic, and our presenting sponsor, Pratt & Whitney, for providing a platform to empower inventors to realize their creations’ full potential and inspire future innovators.

Registration for the 2026 Singapore Invention Convention will commence on 1 Feb, 2026.

Ensure that the headshot is clear, well-lit. Headshots should be submitted in a standard digital image format such as JPEG or PNG. This ensures compatibility and ease of processing during the registration procedure.

If there are multiple inventors involved, please submit a group photo.

Physical Display Board

Inventors are required to prepare a physical display board showcasing their innovation. The display board should effectively communicate key aspects of the invention, including its purpose, features, benefits, and any relevant data or visuals.

The standard dimensions for a basic tri-fold display board are approximately 90 centimeters in height and 120 centimeters in width when fully unfolded

Participants may use recycled materials to construct their display board, provided that the dimensions do not exceed the ones listed above.

Your Invention Logbook

Inventors participating in the Singapore Invention Convention 2026 are required to maintain an invention logbook as part of their submission. The invention logbook serves as a comprehensive record of the development process, documenting crucial stages, insights, challenges, and achievements related to the invention.

Images/ Photos of your prototype

Inventors should provide images of their prototype(s). These images serve as visual representations of the invention’s design, features, and functionality.

Submit prototype images in a standard digital format, such as JPEG or PNG, to ensure compatibility and ease of viewing.

Note to participants: You do not need all your deliverables to be ready before registering! You may register first, and then come back to update your materials. Registration fee is SGD$25 per inventor. An invoice will be sent to you after your successful registration.

If you are in a group project, every member of the group must submit an individual registration. But only one member needs to upload your team’s logbook/pitch/prototype images/video pitch.
