2020 Invention Convention Singapore Open Nationals
The 2nd Invention Convention Singapore Open Nationals was held as an online event from November 16-20, 2020. More than 100 young inventors from Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam met virtually over a mixed reality platform to showcase their inventions.
We are grateful to our sponsor, LDR technology, for creating a mixed reality platform where the real world of Fort Canning Park was fused with the virtual booths of the emerging inventors and sponsors.

We were honored to have met these brilliant young inventors and their inventions. Some inventors focused on solving urgent problems resulting from our current pandemic, while some others chose to solve long-term issues like environmental pollution or food waste – challenges faced worldwide. Yet others pursued solutions to issues that were closer to the heart, solving real and everyday problems that affect people from different walks of life.

Big Thanks to our 2020 event sponsors!
We thank the generous sponsors for their support and belief in our young emerging inventors. The event would not have been possible if more than 60 judges did not take the time out from their busy schedules to mentor and encourage the young inventors.
Thank you for making the 2020 Virtual Invention Convention Singapore Open Nationals a reality! We could not have done it without your presence. Thank you!
